The platform
One continuous system with no middleware, no spreadsheet hand-offs and no manual re-entry. Every stage leaves an auditable trail.
ZKTeco, BioMax and RealTime face and finger devices transmit every punch to TimeKraft in real time. Unrecognised entries are held for review rather than discarded, and any missed day can be retrieved from the device.
Up to three in/out pairs per day, night shifts spanning midnight, meal breaks, late arrivals, half days and banded overtime before and after the shift, recalculated every 15 minutes.
Every rule is configurable on screen by management: grace periods by cadre, the sandwich rule, compensatory off and leave accrual. Each change is effective-dated, versioned and audited.
The payroll engine prepares a draft, reconciles it column by column against your previous payroll, and posts only once it matches. Arrears, loans, bulk deductions and bonuses are all supported.
PF ECR, ESIC challans, LWF, Forms X, XI and 14, gratuity and full-and-final settlement, with contractor GST invoices generated directly from posted payroll.
Closed periods are locked at the database level, so no application, script or manual query can alter them. Every change across 55+ tables is recorded with its before and after values.

Migration
TimeKraft runs in parallel with your current system and proves parity record by record. You switch over only when the numbers match.
20,100 employee records and payroll history from 2019 were migrated, along with a fully searchable 8.6-million-row archive. Vendor middleware was eliminated, around 28 face devices were connected directly, and the first TimeKraft payroll matched the previous system to the rupee.
Went live overnight with 1,046 employees, 34,905 attendance days and 23,623 punches migrated and verified with zero gaps. Some 17,600 lines of custom ERPNext code were replaced, the legacy system was retired on day six, and the first payroll ran within three weeks.
2.38 million punches, 1.89 million attendance days and 86 months of payroll migrated from the previous system, with 98% agreement on the very first processing run. A dedicated dyeing-floor application now runs alongside HR.

TimeKraft includes a complete training and help section inside the app, in English and Hindi. Most users never open it. Screens follow the way your team already works, reports keep the formats they already know, and anything is one search away. Moving to TimeKraft is a feather-touch transition.
